πŸ’Ž The Trillion Dollar Club: These companies are printing money!

The Trillion Dollar Club

Creatix / July 12, 2025

Even with all the money printing going on, it is reasonable to say that a trillion dollar is still a good chunk of money these days. A few years from now, it may be a different story. In the meantime, let's celebrate the expanding Trillion Dollar Club (TDC).

The TDC represents an elite group of corporations whose market value has soared past the once legendary $1 trillion mark.

🏁 Milestone Timeline

1. First to $1 Trillion

  • Apple achieved the first-ever $1 trillion valuation on August 2, 2018 — a historic moment and a milestone no public company had reached before (MarketBeat, Wikipedia).

2. First to $2 Trillion

  • Apple again broke ground by crossing $2 trillion on August 19, 2020, driven by its dominant presence in iPhones, services, and wearables .

3. First to $3 Trillion

  • Continuing its record-breaking pace, Apple reached $3 trillion on January 3, 2022, becoming the first, and still the only, firm to hit that threshold .

4. First to $4 Trillion

  • Nvidia made history in July 2025, briefly surpassing $4 trillion in market cap on July 9, with a confirmed close over $4 trillion on July 10, 2025 .

Other Companies to Surpass $1 Trillion

Beyond Apple, several tech giants and a one non-tech icon have crossed the $1 trillion threshold:

  • Microsoft: April 24, 2019 (Bankrate, Wikipedia)

  • Amazon: September 4, 2018

  • Alphabet (Google): January 16, 2020 (Wikipedia)

  • Tesla: October 25, 2021 (Wikipedia) (briefly)

  • Nvidia: May 30, 2023 (Wikipedia)

  • Meta Platforms: June 28, 2021 (Wikipedia)

  • Broadcom: December 2024 (Wikipedia)

  • Berkshire Hathaway: August 28, 2024 — the only non-tech company to join (Bankrate)

Tesla briefly crossed the mark but later declined again .

Who's in the Club Now?

As of mid‑2025, the following 11 companies proudly sit above the $1 trillion market cap threshold:

Company Market Cap (approx.)
Nvidia $4.0 T
Microsoft $3.74 T
Apple $3.42 T
Amazon $2.47 T
Alphabet (Google) $2.28 T
Meta Platforms $1.84 T
Saudi Aramco $1.79 T
Tesla $1.13 T
Broadcom $1.10 T
TSMC $1.08 T
Berkshire Hathaway $1.03 T

(Bankrate, The Indian Express)

Final Thoughts

  • The current Trillion Dollar Club is heavily dominated by technology companies with only two non-tech: an oil giant, and a diversified conglomerate.

  • Apple made history, being the first to $1T, $2T, and $3T.

  • Nvidia’s rise into the $4T club highlights the explosive growth of AI and data‑center-driven tech

  • At the pace of inflation and overvaluation, many more companies will continue surpassing the $1T valuation. Remember that money is unlimited yet artificially restricted for practical reasons. Money is valuation and accounting tool. Numbers are unlimited and counting is infinite. Don't worry about money. Worry about adding value to other people's lives.
