We've lost 50% of our money on DJT stock so far. We think we can double our money in 2 years.

November 19, 2024

Disclaimer. We own DJT stock. We're only speculating that President Trump will find ways to pump up the market valuation of the Trump Media & Technology Group company (Ticker: DJT) (Yes, the President's initials).

Salesman in Chief

President Trump will soon be our Commander in Chief again. At 78, Trump will be in charge of all our executive government and our military. Trump is a remarkable, famous or infamous, leader depending how you feel about him. Regardless, at his core, Trump is a salesman if not a conman.

President Trump, at the almost senior senile (ASS) age of 78, managed to sell to the majority of American voters that he should serve a second term in the White House (to make it the House of White again). No one knows long that second term, signaling the Second Coming of Trump, will prove to be.

Trump could die any time now because at 78 he's past his sell by date and close to his expiration date. Trump could be impeached in 2027 if Democrats get control of Congress. By the way, our country gets to function better when the Executive power and the Legislative power are controlled by different parties. Trump could find ways to stay in power for more than 4 years by rigging processes, creating a Constitutional crisis, starting a civil war, etc.

There's a playbook for democratically elected leaders to become authoritarian leaders. The playbook has been used successfully by leaders of the political left and of the political right. To some extent, it entails learning from the ministry of Jesus Christ and the 12 apostles. The lesson being that you need at least 12 disciples (e.g. oligarchs) to make things happen for you. It's impossible to know whether Trump will manage to seize authoritarian power or not. The future has not been created yet.

Follow the Money

In that uncertain political future, it is likely that Trump will find ways to make his media and technology company financially successful. Trump will return to the White House with complete control of the Executive Branch, partial immunity from criminal prosecution as granted by the U.S. Supreme Court, and practical control of Congress. The bet is that President Trump will find ways to make tons of money with his media and technology company.

A concern is that Trump may take the company private before the stock appreciates. It is generally easier to find certain ways to make money using private companies than publicly traded ones. Publicly traded companies are subject to more federal oversight and regulations. However, the President will be in charge of the oversight. Therefore, the bet is still on. Our position is down by 50%. We will not sell. We are looking to triple our money.

Keep it safe.

To be sure, we are not betting a lot of money on the stock. As a principle, you should never invest (or speculate) too much on any one stock no matter what. You can always be wrong. The market can be unpredictable. Remember, the future has not been created yet. We are not watching a movie pre scripted by gods and supernatural powers. The universe, which includes all of us, is creating this shit as we go.

Our bet is that Trump and his soon-to-be oligarchs will find ways of pumping DJT stock to the moon. The DJT stock is currently trading at $29 per share, about 50% down from its $60 per share back in March of this year. Call us crazy, but we think that Trump can manage to pump the stock to $200 per share. We'd be probably cashing out at $120 after doubling our money.

The business fundamentals of DJT are lousy as best.

The company's main product or service is Truth Social, a non-woke alternative to the former Twitter. However, Twitter is no longer a "woke" platform. Elon Musk acquired Twitter and turned into X, which is not the woke matrix that Twitter used to be.

In any event, the Trump Media & Technology company has been losing money so far. Operating expenses far exceed the relatively minimal advertising revenue. However, it is not inconceivable that the company financials somehow improve once Trump returns to the White House.

Many private companies and governments may decide to advertise on the Truth Social platform to please the President. Many "investors" may begin to see hidden value in the stock and many other businesses link to the Trump  White House and House of White. Trump is a salesman. We're counting on him to sell up the value of DJT in the next 24 months.

Now you know it.

Live well. Die better. Enjoy. Remember that life is not a problem to be solved. The solution would be death. Life is an opportunity to embrace while it lasts.
